Dr. Geoffrey Duyk, M.D., PhD

Dr. Geoffrey Duyk is a leader in biotechnology and investment, serving as the founder/CEO/Chairman of Grove BioPharma, Vice Chairman of the Innovatus Life Sciences Advisory Board, and a member of the advisory board for Qiming Venture Partners, contributing to these organizations his extensive expertise to the biotech industry.

He is actively involved in various boards, including Concentric Agriculture, Regen Holdings, and is a trustee at Case Western Reserve University. He is an emeritus board of director member for the Moffitt Cancer Institute (Tampa, Florida) and serves on the Moffit Cancer Institute Research and Entrepreneurship Committee. He is also a member of the SAB for DOE/LBL Life Sciences program.
Dr. Duyk was previously Founder/Managing Partner of Circularis Partners (2017-2023), Managing Director and Partner at TPG Alternative & Renewable Technologies/TPG Biotechnology from 2004 to 2017.
His earlier roles include serving as President of Research and Development at Exelixis and Vice President of Genomics at Millennium Pharmaceuticals, where he was a founding scientific staff member.
Dr. Duyk’s academic contributions include his tenure as an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and an Assistant Investigator at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
Dr. Duyk holds both a PhD and MD from Case Western Reserve University and completed his medical training at the University of California, San Francisco.
