Dr. Pascale Augé, PhD

I  Non-executive Director

Pascale Augé is the current Chairman of the Executive Management Board of Inserm Transfert. Before joining Inserm Transfert in 2014, she led the Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship office at the Institut Pasteur.

Pascale holds over 25 years of experience in technological innovation within the life sciences and health technology sectors, and has been instrumental in advancing research transfer, entrepreneurship, and the biotechnology startup industry.
She has held key roles in business development at Neurotech, Entomed, and AB Science, and has managed operational strategy in science and health technology. She also led EY’s advisory biotech and life sciences activities in France.
Since 2017, Pascale has been Vice President of the i-LAB national jury, a prestigious competition for innovative companies organised by the Ministry of Research and Innovation.
Pascale has also chaired the evaluation committee at ANR, overseeing the review of high-market-potential products, technologies, and services.
She currently serves on the Board of Directors at LFB SA and is a member of the Supervisory Board of 2 seed funds and a startup studio, Inserm Transfert Initiative (ITI), the seed fund established by Inserm Transfert, as well as AdBio Partners, a VC firm with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, specialized in early-stage investment in the most promising life sciences startups and ANDZON Bio, a new startup studio dedicated to very early stage life science projects.
Pascale holds a PhD in molecular pharmacochemistry, experimental pharmacology, and metabolism from Université Paris V, as well as a chemical engineering degree from the École de Chimie de Strasbourg.
